Yasmin is a Brazilian actress based in Brooklyn. After performing in many productions in Brazil she moved to NY and recently performed in Creative Time's Production Doomocracy, by Pedro Reyes, directed by Meghan Finn and is a award-nominee for the Press Awards 2017. She is also working at the NY based theater company 3-Legged Dog as an artist in residence and producing her own film directed by Moema Umman.
In 2011 she graduated in theatre on a 3 year conservatory by the artistic training of Clovis Salgado Foundation - Palace of Arts (CEFAR) in Brazil.
Since 2012 she has worked alongside the renowned Brazilian director Rita Clemente, acting in her productions. One of them, the award-winning show “O que você foi quando era crianaça?", written by Lourenço Mutarelli, who served in season in September 2014 at CCBB - Belo Horizonte and won the Copasa/Simparc Award in the categories of best script, best director and best show of the year.
She acts in the show "Delírio&Vertigem," also directed by Rita Clemente and written by Jô Bilac, designed in 15th Edition of Oficinão Galpão Cine Horto, fulfilling seasons in VAC (Summer Contemporary Art and Caixa Cultural Rio de Janeiro (2012/2013/2014).
